About Finn
Finn is an upper year student at University of Victoria, a resident of the Maplewood area of Saanich, a volunteer and a passionate advocate for the community of Saanich. As a young worker, Finn understands the challenges facing young people and will work to balance those needs with those of families and seniors in Saanich.
Finn brings a fresh perspective, while respecting community history, Indigenous ways of knowing and wisdom of long-term Saanich residents. Committed to always listening, learning, and then leading, Finn is running for municipal council. He brings 9 years of volunteer experience in municipal, provincial and federal politics. Finn has fresh ideas, and will help build a stronger, more vibrant Saanich for the future.
Finn is committed to representing all residents with integrity and a focus on generational affordability, overall sustainability, and creating opportunities for future generations to stay home in Saanich.
Finn wants all procurement to be through Canadian companies, with a priority for local procurement. He is also opposed to any AI data centres being built in Saanich.
Finn supports bringing down the cost of living including affordable housing and other initiatives that support working people. Saanich needs to retain young people who will staff our hospitals, be our doctors and teach our children and grandchildren. Finn will ensure every voice is heard and every generation is represented.
